Do I need to record my own voice?
No. Character voices are cast from your manuscript automatically — each one distinct. If you already have narration you want to keep, attach it to the chapter: your lines stay as performed and the cast is converted from your recording or generated.
Can I keep the rights to my audiobook?
Yes. You retain full commercial ownership of the audio. Export retail masters built to the ACX spec — the standard Apple Books, Spotify for Authors, Google Play and the aggregators check against — with each file's loudness, peak and noise floor measured before you upload. What genres work best with AI audiobook production?
Fiction with dialogue gains the most — romance, romantasy, fantasy, thriller, mystery, sci-fi and literary fiction all carry a full cast well. Non-fiction, memoir and educational titles work too, usually with a smaller cast.
