Hatter: “Your hair wants cutting.”
Narrator: He had been looking at Alice for some time with great curiosity, and this was his first speech.
Alice: “You should learn not to make personal remarks. It’s very rude.”
Narrator: The Hatter opened his eyes very wide on hearing this, but all he said was:
Hatter: “Why is a raven like a writing-desk?”
Alice, thinking: “Come, we shall have some fun now! I’m glad they’ve begun asking riddles.”
Alice, aloud: “I believe I can guess that.”
March Hare: “Do you mean that you think you can find out the answer to it?”
Why Midsummerr exists
I've finished maybe ten books in my life. With an attention disorder, reading felt like wading through mud: by the end of a chapter I'd lost how it started. Then I found dramatized audiobooks — full-cast audiobooks with a voice for every character, a score, and the scene sounding around me. Stories pulled me in. I finished books. I joined a book club.
Those productions barely exist, because they cost a fortune and take months. I built Midsummerr so that any book can be performed that way, at a price its author can pay.

What is a dramatized audiobook?
An audiobook that is performed, not only read. A narrator carries the prose, each character speaks in a voice of their own, and music and sound design support each scene. At Midsummerr that is Full Production.
Are the voices AI?
Yes. Each character's voice is designed for the part. Studios can also bring their own narrator's or cast's recordings and keep those performances as recorded.
How much does it cost?
You pay once per book, by length: Single Narrator $1.50, Full Cast $3.75, Full Production $5 per 1,000 words. The first 5,000 words are free.
Do I own the audiobook?
Yes. You keep full commercial rights to the finished audiobook and choose where to sell it.
Do you train AI models on my manuscript?
No. Your manuscript is used to produce your audiobook, never to train AI models.
